- Rachael30 Oct 2024Great stay at this lovely cottage! Tessa was a brilliant host and made us feel so welcome. Our boys particularly loved feeding the chickens every morning, a real highlight of the holiday! Hive beach in Burton Bradstock was our favourite and we tried out several of Tessa’s restaurant recommendations which were all excellent. All in all a great place for young families.read moreread less

- Chloe23 Oct 2024What a wonderful stay at Tessa’s farmhouse – we couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. A cozy, peaceful place with total charm! From the beginning, Tessa provided comprehensive instructions on how to reach the farm, which was easily followed and helpful for finding the location. The house itself is beautiful – we felt so relaxed and it was really a home from home. Everything we could have needed was provided, especially in the kitchen. We spent a wonderful 5 days exploring our favourite spots on the Jurassic Coast, with the house being within easy reach of West Bay, Seatown, Sidmouth, and (my favourite) the Donkey Sanctuary! Tessa was an attentive host and was so kind and generous. She really makes an effort to make things feel homely and extra special. We had some lovely chats.
We really couldn’t fault the experience at all. Don’t hesitate to make a booking!

- Jackie26 Sep 2024Warm, cozy and comfortable. Home from home. We stayed with our border terrier and Tessa had even left towels by the front door to rub her down after walks which was most thoughtful and something we had not experienced before. It makes good sense and helps keep the carpets in good order. Lovely to see the chickens, geese and ducks roaming freely around the yard. Delicious eggs! Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and tranquil stay to escape traffic and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Good location to explore the beaches of the Jurassic coast and beyond.read moreread less

The geese were definitely keeping an eye on us! Only 20 mins drive to go fishing at Abbotsbury. Great walk up Colmer’s hill near Symondsbury to see for miles around. The cabin was beautifully clean and well equipped. Tess was a really kind and thoughtful host. We highly recommend this little corner of West Dorset and hope to return one day soon.read moreread less
