Strongate Cottage

Strongate Cottage is a traditional thatched cottage in a peaceful location, a perfect escape for up to 4 guests to a country and rural retreat. We are located on a small working farm with cows, calves, ducks, geese, stream and spring water. The cottage sleeps four, is traditional in layout and is heated by night storage heaters. The cottage is situated 3 miles north of Bridport, down a winding country lane, has a pretty garden with wooden garden furniture.

A very ‘chocolate box’ exterior with a charming thatched roof and pretty garden, you have everything you could possibly need in the well-equipped galley kitchen. A roomy lounge dinner is a geat relax zone with authentic beams and a lovely character fire place.
Tess thoroughly deserves her reputation as a wonderful hostess; caring, thoughtful and always there to give advice and help if you need it.
Very good information is provided about everything you need to know about the appliances and the surrounding area in a very well prepared guest folder. Comfy beds in charming bedrooms and a lovely bathroom add to the charm of the cottage, also with character beams.
